The Curtis Creek Manifesto was first published in 1978.  From tactics for approaching fish stealthily, to fly tying, to cleaning and cooking fish, anything a beginner angler needs to know is within these pages.  The Manifesto also has original, lively, comic book like drawings on each page, instead of a mush of text that no one will remember.  I was not alive when this book was first released, but I can tell you that 20 years later when I first started fishing, the information within the book was just as relevant.  20 years from now, it will still be relevant.  Perfect as a birthday or christmas gift, or just to perhaps nudge a potential fishing buddy in the right direction, The Curtis Creek Manifesto is one book we always keep at the shop.
